Quelle est la mission d'un notaire ?
Le notaire est un professionnel du droit, sélectionné et nommé par l'Etat. Il exerce sa fonction de conseiller en toute indépendance, impartialité et objectivité dans le cadre de transactions juridiques importantes.

Notaries play a key role in the fields of real estate law, mortgage law, contract law, company law, family law and succession law. The intervention of a notary is required by law in the case of important legal transactions that have long-term effects and are of major economic or personal importance for the parties involved. These include, among others, the sale of real estate, the constitution of mortgages, the constitution of limited liability companies (GmbH) or anonymous companies (Aktiengesellschaft), certain cessions of social shares or transfers of assets, the merger of companies and marriage contracts.

The notary advises each of the parties in an independent, impartial and objective manner. He will ascertain the parties' intentions, draw up the draft deed and the acts necessary for the realization of the transaction in question, while ensuring that the contractual clauses comply with the law.

Dr. Bormann and Dr. Link are experts in German and international law. Dr. Bormann is a graduate of Harvard Law School and has completed numerous stages abroad. Dr. Link exercé la profession d'avocat dans un cabinet juridique multinational durant plusieurs années. Dr. Bormann also gives lectures on Anglo-American law as an honorary professor at the University of Hanovre.
